Portmore International Riding Arenas
We build esteem riding arenas a riding school in Ireland comissioned Portal Power to create suitable facilities that would allow the organisation to house international events all year round. The solution was provided in the form of one of our indoor riding halls; which was sourced, delivered and erected by our team. The hall will continue to serve and be enjoyed as a covered menage for riders, an event venue for spectators and a school for students for many years to come. FedEx to APH: Building for the future!
When producing steel the first time around, there is a large number of carbon emissions and the reproduction process can further increase emissions. During 2007, Portal Power was comissioned to dismantle an old FedEx depot in Stratford as part of Lord Coe’s pitch to make the 2012 Olympic Games the greenest in history. Portal Power took this old FedEx depot and refurbished the steel by blasting and spraying it to ensure an increased lifespan and continued durability before re-erecting, re-purposing and cladding the structure, transforming into new offices and warehousing for a Combine Sales & Agrigultural Hire Company. Olympic Equestrian Legacy Centre, Greenwich
Opened by the Princess Royal herself, Portal Power was comissioned to provide the Olympic Heritage Legacy’s Equestrian Centre, Teaching Block with Sedum green roof, Hay Barn & Riding Arena. Our team worked hard to contribute to both cost and carbon emission savings which were passed on to the client.
This Equestrian Centre is now run by Hadlow College who offer courses in Equine Care and Management. We are justly proud of our contribution to the success of this project. Call is for work with any equestrian center or riding arenas
Internal Clean Room Inspection Unit
Not the first time we’ve been approached for the solution to a particuarly bespoke requirement! This client needed to provide clean rooms for investigative teams to work inspective crime scene items in a controlled environment. Our design team worked hard to create a solution which involved inverting a building so that all the cladding could be faced inward to create a seamless finish on the inside so it was suitable for the teams to work.
The building within a building was designed, constructed and clad to finish by us in a tight timeframe in order to comply with the clients contracted start-time inspection.
